MONTRÉAL, CANADA --(Apr 10, 2007) – Electrigaz Technologies Inc. and Krieg & Fischer Ingenieure Gmbh have entered into a strategic partnership agreement to jointly develop biogas anaerobic digester power plants in Canada.
Biogas plants are renewable energy systems that convert organic waste issued from farms, municipalities or food industries into renewable natural gas (RNG) or green electricity. The technology is well established in Denmark and Germany with over 1000 MW of electricity produced from waste and farm manure.
Under this agreement Krieg & Fischer and Electrigaz will develop biogas project opportunities in Canada using their combined renewable energy expertise and local market knowledge.
